I get a message saying "The alias, 'ButterLib' cannot be copied to the destination perhaps because the destination does not support this type of alias"

Here's a relevant thread (with some responses by me!) from a couple of years back. That should be helpful, and a good answer if you are using a burned copy of the installer disk, and not an original installer.

If the problem is often the result of using a burned copy, then you may have a damaged disk, which Roxio might replace if you contact them.

There also might be more help at the Roxio support forum.
