I heard the new Mini has a Sata notebook hard drive. I'd love to upgrade that to a normal, faster, cheaper full size Sata hard drive. If the connectors are the same, and I don't care what it looks like, could one just run the Sata connector out to a 3.5" Sata drive?
You know its absolutely retarded why they don't come out with a Mini without the slow as molasses notebook drive. Especially as it would be significantly cheaper.

Ok maybe it would be an inch taller. I'm sure no one is going to have a coronory over another inch.
Good link - and its just what the doctor ordered. If the manufacturer puts out ridiculous products its time to fix them!
