I need more storage for video for my Dual 2 Ghz power PC G5. I have been using external firewire Maxtor 300 Gb 7200 RPM drives. Is there any disadvantage to purchasing a second INTERNAL drive? One advantage is that it wouldn't take up any more space in my work area. I believe the internal drive I need is an ATA drive. Is this correct?

You need Serial ATA (SATA) drive(s).
