Hi
My Question is how do i stop internet connect from opening auto matically when i power on my mac

Something is desiring an internet connection. Could be Software Update. Could be some other application or service. Either way, open the Network pane of System Preferences, configure your modem, click PPP Options. In that sheet, you can tell your Mac not to automatically connect to the Internet.

sorry ben i did not give you all the details.
i connect through airport and this usually connects to the network when i start my mac but now the internet connect window opens aswell, it never used to ,i have had the airport setup for 2 years

Hmm. Can't help you there, assuming Internet Connect is not in Login Items. What is it expect you to do with it? Are you connecting automatically when you startup? Also, why are you turning off your computer?

thanks it was in login items so i removed and that done the trick
