Description:
I have recurring problem with setting file helper preferences on Internet Explorer. The default setting for stuffit files appears to be Stuffit Deluxe. I have tried many times to delete Stuffit Deluxe and replace it with Stuffit Expander sso that stuffit files and other compressed files downloaded will be automatically expanded rather than have Stuffit Deluxe automatically opened. IE disregards my resetting of file helpers and reverts to its default setting of Stuffit Deluxe every time I open the program. I have Stuffit Delixe 5.0.2 (with Stuffit Engine and Stuffit Powerplug installed) and Stuffit Expander 5.1.
Is there any way to get IE 4.5 to use Stuffit Expander rather than Stuffit Deluxe?

Hi Ronald,
This is a bug in IE 4.5. If it makes you feel better, the same problem is happening on my computer
. Try reporting it to Microsoft, they might fix it. Or go back to IE 4.01, or use Netscape.
