I work on OS X 10.4.11. Yesterday, I downloaded Internet Explorer 5.2. It worked well for the remainder of the day. I trashed the old IE 5.0.
This morning, the program will not load. I get as far as the message:
sending request for ADS Ad clinet31.d11. That's it.
My Safari is loading quickly. So is my old IE 5.0 that I dragged out of the trash.
I wouldn't even bother with this except a media search program that I must use is only workable on IE.
HELP!
Also, what is Firefox? Another program like IE or Safari? I've just started to blog and, alas, the best program for blogger.com formatting is Firefox.
Do I dare download a third program?
Microsoft has discontinued any mac support for its IE browser, 5.2 was the last version they put out. I'd imagine it would start breaking down with each future iteration of OS X; strange though that it would work the 1st time but not the second.

What media search program do you use?
Download Firefox, you'll love it!

It has tons of extensions (AdBlock Plus, Web Developer toolbar) and runs great on mac or pc. I particularly love sharing bookmarks with my other computers/locations with FoxMarks.
Definitely dare to get Firefox. You won't be sorry!
