OS VERSION: Windows 95

DESCRIPTION:

Hi! My system crashed last week but IBM got me up and running, however, I had to put Internet Explorer 4.0 on system instead of 3.02 that we used to set up ISP account. I'm having some trouble surfing the net and when I click on the IE globe it doesn't automatically ring up my connection for me although I can get into it via Outlook Express or shortcut to my ISP. Must tell you that I'm trying that WEbcelerator proggie. Perhaps it is causing the conflict! Anyway, please help , your assistance is appreciated!

Try turning off the web accelerator program and try it again. If not it seems that IE4 and dial up networking has lost it's association with each other. Right Click on the IE4 icon and goto properties and then goto the connection tab, make that it has connect to the internet using a modem, then click on settings and make sure your DUN connection for your ISP is selected.

Try connection through the DUN connection from the Dial Up networking folder inside my computer and then open up IE4, after a while it should reassociate itself.
