Hi
When I try to verify my hard disk it says
Invalid leaf count
1 disk not repaired
I have a 1.67 17" G4 powerbook. Do I have to reformat my hard disk and reinstall the operating system or is there some way to fix this?
Thanks,
Simon

Hi
It is now saying when I run verify disk
Verifying volume “Macintosh HD”
Checking HFS Plus volume.
Checking Extents Overflow file.
Checking Catalog file.
Checking multi-linked files.
Checking Catalog hierarchy.
Checking Extended Attributes file.
Reserved fields in the catalog record have incorrect data
Checking volume bitmap.
Checking volume information.
The volume Macintosh HD needs to be repaired.
Error: The underlying task reported failure on exit
1 HFS volume checked
Volume needs repair
What should I do?

Buy DiskWarrior (from Alsoft). It can almost always repair this kind of serious hard drive directory problem.
