Hi Thomas, welcome to Nowonder, I'm robertw.

This is from Quicken;

This message is usually generated when importing a Quicken Interchange Format (QIF) file that has a line or lines beginning with the letter "U." These lines must be manually deleted from the QIF file before it can be imported into Quicken for Macintosh.
Use a text editor program such as NotePad, SimpeText, etc. to open the QIF file. It will look something like this:
!Type:Bank
D8/11/96
U0.00
T0.00
CX
POpening Balance
L[Checking]
^
D8/11/96
U5,000.00
T5,000.00
CX
NDEP
^
D8/14/96
U-750.00
T-750.00
CX
PBlob Industries
L[Investment]
^
Delete all lines beginning with the letter "U," then save the QIF file. It will now import into a Quicken for Macintosh program.
