DESCRIPTION:

I am building a computer with a 100 MHz
PC Wave MB, a AMD 350 MHz 3D NOW CPU,
with a 32 meg dimm of PC 100 memory.
I occassionally get the following
message when it boots up:
"While initializing device IOS

You need to restart your computer"

Sometimes the error message will read
as above, only without the first line
"while ititializing......."

Do you know what is causing this and
what I can do to eliminate this error?

Thanks for your time.

Chuck,

It is a known problem with the AMD 350+ processors. Sorry...no fix. Just kidding. Download the patch at the following URL which will fix the problem.
