Description:
I have a number of Macs on an appleshare ip 5.0 network in a school. I have to have appletalk inactive to be able to print to the Epson inkjets connected to several, however, the server name disappears from the chooser. I can access the server by typing the ip address, but the teachers are going to have a rough time of this. Is there any solution that makes server access easier?

Thanks.

Thanks for stopping by NoWonder!

The only way I can find is to create an alias of the server and have it login automatically at startup or leave the alias in the Apple menu. This way you can leave AT off and have an easy way to get to the server.

Hope this works. let me know.
