I currently have iPhoto 6.0.6. I'd like to upgrade this so that I have the "event" option to help organize and manage my photos but each time I try and upgrade I get a message reading:
"An eligible iPhoto application was not found in the location /Applications."
I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong but I would sure like to know!
Thanks.

Could you be more specific on what exactly you are doing to upgrade? To which version of iPhoto do you want to upgrade?

I've been going to the apple website and downloading versions of iPhoto (7.1 & 7.1.1). I'm not sure which iphoto I need to update to in order to get the "event" option but I think it's 7.

Sorry, I'm a very basic computer user.

You need to get - which means: buy - iPhoto 7. iPhoto 7.1 and 7.1.1 will only update 7 NOT 6.0.6.

iPhoto 7 is part of iLife '08
