Hi! I have been unable to use iPhoto, as it does not show up in applications folder or in a search of the whole computer. No problem, I downloaded iPhoto 6.0.5, but when I try to install, it gives me an error saying you cannot install to this drive, an eligible version of iPhoto was not found.

Is there a way to download an actual version of the app, not just an update? For some reason the OS forgot to install it. This is OS 10.4.7, and everything else works great.

Thank you!

The iPhoto 6.0.5 that you downloaded is not iPhoto, but an updater for an existing iPhoto install, so will not install if iPhoto vers. 6 is not already installed.

iPhoto is not part of a Tiger 10.4.x system install, and would only be available in a system bundle. This would likely not install on a Mac model different than the Mac that it came with.

2 ways to get iPhoto version 6. It's included on a Mac that came with iPhoto version 6 (part of iLife '06), or you can install iLife '06 as a separate package that you have purchased.

Hope this helps...
