i have a 17" g4 powerbook with 1GB of ram and 1.25ghz processor. i am using iphoto 4.0. I had copied my library from my internal HD to a Lacie 120GB HD and when i tried to connect to the Lacie Library the thumbnails showed up but when i clicked on the pictures it was just a blank white page (under edit). so i moved the library fro the Lacie back to my picture folder on my internal HD. it worked from a little bit until the i started opening pictures to edit mode when it gave me a white page ( 50% of the time). Now it is happening on all my 12,000 pictures and i can't figure out what is going on. Iphoto has gone rogue on me. any suggestions? has this happened to anyone else?

Hi Ben,
Hi Is the Lacie HD still connected? Maybe the library you made in your external HD is confusing iPhoto since you also have a library in your internal HD. Anyways disconnect or delete the Lacie iPhoto library. In your Home directory go to library> preferences > delete com.apple.iPhoto.plist. I hope this works.
Bets,
Peter

i took the computer to a mac genius. he rebuilt my library but i lost all my effects and albums. i would still like to know why it wrote corrupt data files in the first place when i transfered the files to a lacie HD.
