I was recently cleaning up some of the older files in my laptop, and accidentally deleted some of iTunes library. I still have all of my songs on my iPOD but dont want to lose those too. I called Apple, and they said I could only transfer the songs out that I bought through Apple. Unfortunatley the majority of my library was from c.d.'s that I have since thrown away, is there anyway to put the library in my iPOD back to any computer?

Sure. Apple will only tell you the capabilities of its software, iTunes. But there are plenty of utilities that will do this for you anyway. I recommend Senuti.
