Hi there.

I intially set my ipod to my powerbook then I wanted to use it on my PC. So I found out from my local apple store that I could plug my ipod into my PC follow the formatting instructions. Then it wouldl be formattted to my PC and I could then plug it into my apple on the basis that an apple can tell if it was originally formatted to a PC and let it work but a PC can't tell that it was orginally on a mac and so doesn't let it work. Sorry, does that make sense?

Anyway now my ipod won't play back my music the sreen says

"www.ipod.com/support/ipod" and thats it!?

However i can plug into both my pc and mac and see all the files fine?

Help much apppreicated.

Probably best to download the latest iPod software for the PC, then connect your iPod to the PC and do a full software restore on the iPod. Now your iPod is PC/Mac compatible. This process will erase your iPod so make sure you have all the files backed up.

Get the PC version from here-
