hello,
i got a second hand imac a while ago now,i dont know much about this stuff so bear with me!
its the turquiose one,the guy i got it off said he got it a week after they came out.we have it running os9.1.im not sure how to find out the specs or even what you would really need to know.
i really want to get broadband cos its so painfully slow at the moment!i was told,i think by someone on the aol helpline that i coluldnt get broadband due to the internal modem.but i have read stuff about ethernet..?no idea what that is!can you help me please?is broadband possible and what will i need to doto get it?

Yes. Broadband (high-speed Internet) feeds into your Ethernet port (a little wider than the modem port). The company you choose to provide the connection (via DSL or Cable) will provide the appropriate cable, which has eight metal contacts, unlike the two or four on a phone cable.
