Robin:

I've not used AIM for OSX but there must be in the preferences somewhere: View LOGS? Also with iChat, you can view the logs of all conversations.

Alternatively:

You can buy products such as this for the mac and monitor internet activity.

As for past AIM chats... are you using AIM for Mac? There is a free program that i use for my IM, ADIUM www.adiumx.com it runs everything at once... gmail, msn, icq, AIM.. everything in one window.

This will log your conversations... but your daughter could find the settings and delete them?

If you want a good program that runs in the back ground and you can monitor it at a later date i would suggest purchasing a reliable software. I have daughters... $29.95 is an investment in their safety!

Good luck, let us know if you have other questions.

Warmly,

CaribbeanOS-X
