Picked up an iSight camera from work to video skype from home. The camera is not being recognised. I have searched for a driver (hopelessly) and have tried rebooting and reinserting firewire cable. No luck there either. I have a Mac running OS X Version 10.4.8 1.8 GHz G5. Any help would be great. Thanks

You can download iChat AV 2.1 from http://www.apple.com/support/downloads/ichatav.html

However, two caveats:

1. Make sure your FW camera appears in System Profiler as connected.
2. iChat AV 2.1 is marginally compatible with 10.4.x. The upgrade to iChat AV 3.x is $29.95 but Software Upgrade may just upgrade you as long as you have 2.1 and your iSight connected.

iChat AV contains the iSight drivers.

HTH and please let us know what happens. Thanks.
