TICKET ARCHIVE -> Isight not working

im having problems with isight not working. i only bought this computer new last week and my isight camera hasnt worked at all. i've tried all the different ways of getting it to work none of them have worked. please help!

Does it give you an error message when you try to use the camera?

it doesnt have any messages telling me there is anything wrong. ive tried seeing if it will work in imovie or iphoto as well as photo booth. the screen just come as blank. it picks up sound all right, just no image. the computer says it is present in system profiler.

Try creating a test user on your computer and seeing if it works in that user, if it does not and it's still under 2 weeks old, I would consider bringing it to an Apple Store for an exchange.
