I just bought an iSight, but I have an old iChat version. I currently have a Mac 10.2.4 with an iChat version 1.0.1 (v51.4) To run my iSight - what is the simplest/cheapest thing to do -- buy MAC OS X Tiger to upgrade my computer?? or what?

Hi, my name is Per, and I'll be helping you with your iSight problem.

Unfortunately, you are right. iChat's support for the iSight (called iChat AV) only started with OS X 10.3.

So, to get the support and be able to use your iSight, you will need to install 10.3 or 10.4
