I downloaded an .iso image file approx 2.0GB, I am able to mount the file but when I open it there are no visible files inside.

I tried to burn it to Toast 7.1 but again saw no files.

Lastly, I converted it to a .dmg image but got the same result. The original image was created on a PC, am I able to open it on my mac?

Hi dan!
First check if there are any hidden files in the image by mounting it (mount it with Toast) and doing an advanced search (with spotlight or the Find command in the Finder) with the option "hidden files".
If you don't find anything, consider that you can create an empty disc image that is 2 Gb in size: it will just occupy the space, although there's nothing inside the disc image.
Let me know the news. Bye!!
