I have just updated to Mac OSX Tiger and now isync will not recognize my mobile phone - although it is listed as a supported device and is recognized in the system profiler - anyone know how to make it work...

Have you tried working through the Bluetooth setup assistant?...

I do not have a bluetooth module in my laptop - I'm attempting to sync with a USB cord. I have been able to get iSync to recognize the phone by messing with the MetaClasses.plist in the isync.app contents file... but it the same error message comes up "Phone has refused some changes" it will upload info from the phone, but will not download to it. The only time I got it to sync it would substitute a string of numbers for names in the addressbook...

OK, I think I would still suggest downloading this piece of software, I am pretty sure that it is not just aimed at those who wish to use bluetooth...

Thanks but that didn't work the bluetooth setup assistant won't launch without a bluetooth module in the computer...

Sorry it didn't work out, I'm not sure what else might help at the moment, if I get any other ideas, I'll let you know.
