hi really strange but it seems that isync is using up all my hd memory in a file called users/~/library/mirrors/0016cb8d96cf/iwatekenshi.dmg,mirrors.plist (plus two more files). This doesn't seem right. I never had this problem before of isync highjacking memory it's taking 31GBs! If there are any answers to this problem I appreciate the help.
Thank you

Jonathan

The mirrors folder is normally used for iDisks when you have syncing turned on in .Mac Preferences. I see you have a .Mac account and a Web site under construction with iWeb. How much space do you have? Any more than the 10GB Apple now offers standard?

I stopped syncing my iDisk to save hard disk space.

Ben thanks for the help. Yes I do have more space allotted than the 10GBs offered, but it is not being all used. Do you mean to say that the larger the idisk space the more internal hard disk memory will be used? I guess that space will be on the idisk and not on your HD anymore.

If you choose to sync your iDisk (on Apple's server) with a local version on your Mac, Mac OS X will create a mirror writable disk image on your Mac sized to the full capacity of your iDisk. If you're on a fast Internet connection, you probably don't need to sync.

thanks for the help. I am on a fast connection so I will leave it turned off from now on. Did it to my wife's mac as well. I appreciate the help.
