How do you set itunes/your ipod mini to play back one continous mix and not automatically add the track gaps?

Also, I have had problems with my Ibook G4 reading DVD music files in MP3 format. My computer recognizes the folder names but when I open them there's no music? Yes there are files there, they play on my PC and DVD player.

Thanks in adv for your help

On the first issue, you can set the cross fade playback to reduce the gap. Start up iTunes, open prefrences, click Audio. Then you should see a slider control which you can use to adjust the playback gap.

Regarding the second issue, were these DVDs created on a Mac or PC? The Superdrive in your Mac (or a combo drive) can deal with DVD-R disks. So can most DVD players. If the DVDs were made on a PC with DVD+R type disks, a DVD player can usually read them, but your Mac probably cannot.

You would probably need to reburn them using DVD-R media.

I also should add that the safest way to get disks that your mac can read would be to use CD-R disks with the files in mp3 (unprotected) format.
