Hi

I'm attempting to backup my iTunes library on my Macbook Pro so that I can transfer it to my new iMac. I'm doing this by using the backup facility in iTunes and it tells me that I need to use 3 DVDs to do this. The backup appears to run OK, however Disc 1 of the three is unreadable - perhaps it did not finalise - whereas discs 2 and 3 are fine and restore to my iMac without any problems. I can't read the disc 1 in either my Macbook Pro or iMac drives. To eliminate the possibility of a faulty DVD disk I have repeated this three times with new discs, each time resulting in the same problem.

Can you advise what might be the issue here?

Thanks

Try recreating your iTunes library - there could a a corrupt file that is causing the burn to fail.
