Dave,
My name is Cheryl and I will be assisting you.
Go to Home>Music>iTunes>iTunes Music. In that folder are the actual music files. You should be able to delete the file from there.

thanks - i went in throught the hard drive to music - itunes - music folders and the file didn't show. it's blue in itunes, similar to the itunes music store link in green. the music files aren't on the hard drive, likely because each time you click on this link, it links to music somewhere else online and displays the songs once they've been accessed. i really want to delet this link - anything else you can think of?
thanks! - dave

Dave,
There are several places to check.
First, go to Home>Library>Caches
See if you have an iTunes folder. Trash everything in there.
Now locate the MetaData folder. Trash everything in there.
Now go to the Home>Music>iTunes and trash the itunes Music Library.xml file and iTunes Music Library.
Your music will still be in the folder iTunes Music, so the library will rebuild itself.
Empty the trash.
Does it still show up?

Dave,
It sounds like it is from a web site you are surfing that is planting it there. What web site does it connect to?
Go to Home Folder>Library>Caches>MetaData>Safari.
Trash all the files in there.
Now Open Safari. Under the Safari Menu select Empty Cache. You will be asked if you are sure. Click on Empty.
Now go to the Safari Menu and select Preferences. Click on Security, then click on Show Cookies.
Now go through the list. You want to save the cookies from important web sites like your bank or companies that you go to to pay bills. Click on the others, then hit the remove button.

Dave,
Great. I hope it stays away.
Watch what web sites you visit or listen to music on. It could very well be a link to that.
