hi,
i have a 17" powerbook 1.67ghz 512 mb memory.
i recently went to buy a few songs from the itunes site and as soon as i hit buy it quit, also if i try and get album artwork, or track names it quits too.

Not sure if its related but i have adobe cs2 and that doesn't even load up now after using it 4 months.

Steve,

Did you try repiaring permissions?
1. Open the Applications folder -> Utilities
2. Open Disk Utility
3. Choose your HD (not Macintosh HD, the other one)
4. Click "Repair Disk Permissions".

Try re-installing CS2. If iTunes still quits, try deleting CS2. If iTunes works then, then CS2 and iTunes don't work together for some reason. If it still quits, I have no idea what could be wrong. Did you try repairing the disk using the install disk?

still no luck. but now adium 1.0.4 and microsoft messenger keep quitting, adium freezes the whole mac, not even force quit works then.

Did you try reparing the disk using the install CD?
