Hi! I am setting up a website through iWeb (fun!). Tell me please, is it possible to set this up so that music starts playing once you enter the site? How would i set this up?

Thanks so much,

Chris

You can usually drag and drop unprotected music (if the music is encoded with drm, it will not transfer) into the page. You can usually then click an option to make it play automatically.

Anything else?

I'll reply again.....weird how you didn't get it....

Wordpress will work on Dreamhost-they'll even set it up for you (if you look on the pricelist, towards the bottom). If you are publishing in iWeb, you can just link to your wordpress blog.

If you wanted to add things like flash and html code to your iWeb website, you may be out of luck....you may consider spending 29.99 (I believe) and getting iWeb Enhancer (http://web.mac.com/cbrantly/iWeb/Sof...0Enhancer.html), which will allow you to add html code, flash, etc.

With wordpress, the commenting feature is built in. It also features akismet, which will block most of the spam from the comments. The ability to email you from the site is very simple, so is giving the option to pay to download a video.

You could probably do most of your dream in Wordpress and iWeb.

Let me know of anything else I can do for you, and I can't wait to see the final site!

Hey, thanks so much for the previous help~! I am still unclear however, on how to get iWeb to play a song upon entering site. I would like the song not to be visible in the usual way, with the quicktime transport, but just to play. I have a song set up to fade in slowly so it doesn't blast their speakers, and would like to loop this at my enter page.

Thanks so much!~

my website is up by the way. Fun!
