What version of each browser? And what version of MRJ - in order to take advantage of the 1.1.x event handling you need MRJ 2.0 - however, as far as I can tell, only MSIE supports 1.1, Netscape is still only 1.02 java compliant on the Mac side. However for either browser to adequately run java you need to be using the 4.x versions - with MSIE, the 4.x version allows you to select Apples MRJ for your java implementation. To get MRJ 2, you need to visit Apple's web site.

Your browsers store the bookmarks in a file in your prefs folder, for MSIE it's called favorites.html (or something similar) in Netscape it's bookmarks.html - you can save these, or view them (I set one as my startup url for a while). I hope this helps.
