RAM Enhancer: Ram Doubler 2.x
OS Version: System 7.5.3

Description:
JPEG Viewer 3.3.1 and GIF Converter 2.3.7 problem with Duo 280C.
Will open JPEG files, but freezes system after closing JPEG document, attempting to trash JPEG document, or quitting the viewing application. Have to power Duo off by reset switch in back of unit. Duo does not have FPU.
Everything works fine on my desktop setup of Quadra 660AV with system 7.1.

Ken,
The first thing you probably should try is getting the current version of GIF Converter (2.4). GIF Converter can be found at:

http://www.kamit.com/gifconverter/

Another solution may be to try GraphicConverter available from:

http://www.lemkesoft.de/

Personally I find GraphicConverter to be a superior tool to GIF Converter.
