Description:
When trying to open a JPEG image from a friend, the image icon is broken, or torn, and I cannot open the image. I sent my friend an image in the same format, and he can open it. Why can't I open that same image even though he forwarded back to me? I also tried to open an image that he originated.

What program are you using to open the image?
I would suggest that you use GraphicConverter to view the file - download from here: http://www.lemkesoft.de
