sorry to bug you w/this but w/2 small kids---- my keyboard is literally "crumb-y" from cookies, etc despite my best efforts to keep food away...it their a recommended way to try to clean it?? do keys lift off-doubtful?? for ex., i have to push hard to get the ?? to work...annoying but not a crisis!

Bette,
I would not recommend removing any of the keys as you might find it most difficult getting them back on!
You could, for example, buy a can of that compressed air stuff and blow all the crumbs out of the keyboard. That's probably the best way to take care of the problem.
You might need to use the whole can to clean it properly but it should work nicely.
