HI again. I booted up my G5 from The CD-ROM, as it wouldnt boot normally, it got to the Starting OSX and just froze there. In Disk Utility, I try repairing disk. It tells me in Red KEYS OUT OF ORDER. VOLUME NEEDS REPAIR. I try to repair it. But it wont. It says it can't. WHat are my options now? Should I erase the disk? Purchase an app that could help me? ALso, is it worthwhile to partition my hard drive. It is currently 150GB. COuld that be preventitive in the future?

Thank you.

Hi Julie

DiskWarrior will probably fix the disk problem;

There's no need for partitioning unless you have a specific need for partitions.

If DiskWarrior can't repair the damage, then you will have to reformat the drive.
