Does leaving your machine on 24 hrs.a day hurt it,or the monitor.If you leave it on is the screensaver enough or should you shut down the monitor.

You can leave your computer on all the time, power saving might kick in and spin down the hard disks.
But if you never seen your monitor shut down by it self (powersaving)
then just hit the switch, cause the monitor drains a lot more power than the
computer, and that would also preserve the tube.
