I have two libraries on my system disk. The first, Gaguar/library = 1.5GB
the 2nd Gaguar/library/users/mkkov/library = 1.7GB
these two take a lot of space on my operaitng system disk. For example, I want to install now the new ilife, which takes 3.5GB and this will dry the system disk out.
How can I find out what I need in these two libraries, and then delete what's unnecessary?
Hi,
Although the contents of the library have the same folder names the contents are somewhat different. Those sored in the main library are system wide settings while your user data or preferences are stored in the user's library folder. In your case "Gaguar/library/users/mkkov/library". I suggest you live them alone but if you insist before deleting any of them be sure to back up these files.

The tilde (~) character indicates your home folder.

Another way of saving disk space is to delete unwanted language files with the freeware Monolingual.
