I just recently bought a lacie DVD+- with Lightscribe by F.A.Porsche. I have no problems burning data to the DVD but cannot get the labeling software to install.

I have tried to install it several times. I downloaded the software from the LACIE site and ran through the install procedure. It says the software is installed but I can't find it anywhere on the computer.

I am running on a PowerMac G5 with MacosX 10.4.11

Thank-you for any suggestions.

Did you download both parts to the Lightscribe software? There's one which is the driver software, and then one for the actual labeling software. You need both. The labeling software will be installed in your Applications folder by default. The other software (the drivers) will be in hidden folders. That's why you don't find anything yet.
Here's the link to the LightScribe downloads page.

You need both the System Software, and the Simple Labeler.

Check out DiskLabel software, which also works with LightScribe.
