Dear Sir
I have tried to go on line with my browser Firefox and tried to listen to radio directly but it doesn't work. I tried to use iTunes but it didn't seem to work either. When I used to do this from windows it just worked directly. What do I need to do with my Mac ?
It is an ibook G4. I am not a technician but just a regular mac user.
Regards
Christophe

To listen to radio via the web and your browser, you need a compatible music player such as iTunes or Real Player. To listen to radio directly from iTunes open iTunes and select Radio from the list on the left. Then in the display of various genre click on a desired type's little arrow to open the list, then double-click on a station option. Music should start streaming as soon as the connection is made.

You need to know the URL of the radio station's stream, which isn't always easy to find, unfortunately. iTune's Help menu explains how.

Most radio stations stream their audio to work with certain players such as Real Player or Windows Media Player. Check the web pages of these stations to see which they use. Some use both and provide separate links for each. You can download Real Player and WMP and install them so they are available to use.
