Description:
About a month ago, after a computer problem , which caused me to be sent a whole new system , I have developed this pesky problem. This has happened on many occasions but never with my old system(P-100). Now I have an X2 - modem from Toshiba. I can connect from 2100-5600 which I really like BUT...right in the middle of the connection , it just lock up. I can'y even do control-alt-delete. Then , a mesage comes up about Scan disk will fix errors and it does But this is happening too often. Then , a few hours ago. on Voxphone, talking to New Zealand, it happened again. But this time it said something about C-drive errors, no pointer to chose options...file check /root directory..I'm lost..HELP?

ok are you doing maintanance on this machine? meaning a weekly at least (weekly) scan disc & a defag, & do you have regclean.exe in the system tools as well? if not don't worry we can get that later BUT one MUST do a weekly scan (thorough) scan disc & (automaticlly fix error) this is in scan disc & then in defragmentation (defag) you MUST, MUST do it as well but the scan disc first. & if you have the new regclean.exe use that third. you can do a find/files&folders to see if you have regclean.exe
after all that has been done let me know if you are still haveing problem there is a couple of patches that will fix it as well one called 1.2b, that has others stuff in it that will fix that bad boy if the first don'y let me know
