Description:
I lose several megs on hard drive after each use of computer. This happens without my adding any new program. I checked for temp files and ran scandisk and defrag. No help. The only file in the Dos dir. that was modified and increased is the win386.swp file but not enough to account for all the missing megs. Any suggestions?

Thanks

Dear George,

Every time you start a program on you computer, some of the program files are run. And then your computer's swap files are used (win386.swp). A swap file is virtual memory. Every time you run a program it cab. files and other compressed files are opened and are uncompressed to the swp file
