TICKET ARCHIVE -> loud noise @ startup

Description:
When starting up I hear a loud high pitched tone right after the ringing sound that I usually hear during startup.
I have recently updated from OS 8 to 8.1

Hi Steve and welcome to No Wonder!

I am going to send you a small program to run.
Put it in the Shutdown Items folder in your system folder and see if it cures your problem.
