Adobe illustrator different default save location--

I want to save to a different default save location in only Adobe illustrator under Mac OS 10. If there is anyway I would like to know.

Illustrator usually saves to last known or used location. Normally, it will take you first to your USER/DOCUMENTS folder. I'm not sure you can change this behavior in preferences.

I recommend saving the location you want to use by starting in FINDER and open a new window. Find your location folder and drag it to the left of that new window, in the bottom left list. Then whenever a save or open dialog comes up, in any program, you can select that location you chose.
