Hello,
My question is the following:
If a want to download a file with safari or firefox on my macbook, then I have to click on the link with my "right mouse button" and click on "download linked file" to download the file.
Normally I had to click on the link and the download started automaticaly.
How can I change this again?
Yours sincerely,
Kenny Vandemoortele

I'm not sure if this is your issue but check how you configured the mouse setting in System preferences. If it isn't so get back to me and give me a little more detail like what you mean by " normally I had to click on the link...". Do you mean that in it used to work that way in your macbook or other computer?
bests,
peter

My mouse configuration seems ok. If I change something, there is no difference for my problem.
And yes I mean that it used to work the way it normally works on a macbook or other computer. If there is a download link on the internet, for instance: "download torrent", then I just had to click it and the download started. But now if I click the same link, then nothing happens. I have to click with the right mouse button and choose for the menu: "download linked file", and then it starts to download.
It's a strange thing...
