I have a G3 Powerbook and a G4, but I love my G3 indigo clamshell. Can I upgrade to use with OSX? It doesn't have a CD burner or firewire.

The small 3GB hard drive in your nice iBook won't give you too much use with OS X. The hard drive can be replaced, but is a real puzzle for a tech to do this job. You would have a challenge to upgrade to Tiger 10.4, but you could use Panther 10.3. You should upgrade to as much memory as you can. There is only one memory slot, and you probably have 64MB built-in, and you could add as much as 512MB, if you can find a PC-66 or PC-100 memory SO-DIMM that will work in your model.
thanks for using MacOSX.com
