I just bought a new iMac and was wondering about the best Virus Protection software for the MAC...Norton? And I was looking for a product like Webroot's Window Washer that will clean temporary internet files and sopme spyware on the Mac.
Thanks

you are immune.
from all virus's, trojans, adware, spyware. everything. it doesn't work on your shiny new mac.
MacOS X is the safest, most secure and overall, impenetrable operating system. designed to be stable, it has never been hacked.
not for lack of trying either, there is a competition run each year with a prize of £13,000 for anyone who can hack macOS X. it's never been won.
therefore! you don't need antivirus software, surf in immunity!
in fact, Norton Antivirus for Mac is infamous, as it caused more problems than it "solved" nearly everyone reported that Norton screwed their system, DON'T use it!
