I have a titanium Power PC G4 laptop and I am trying to install mac os x leopard on it. Which version do i need and where can i find it please?

You need to purchase it on a dvd disc. It's not available for download, only updates are.

Make sure you have enough RAM to run it, At least 512MB:

Once you load Leopard then go to Software Update in System Preferences and let it download your updates to get your install up to date, We're at 10.5.2 currently.

It seems that on that site it doesnt mention whether the version of Mac OSX is for the x86 computers or the PowerPC G4. How can i be sure i have the right version?

It will work on your PowerPC G4.

is it a double layer DVD? cause my dvd player recognises only dvd(-) type and doestn work with double layer. Do i have to install an external usb double layer dvd writer? or the dvd is a single layer one.

If your laptop has the dvd drive that came with it, it will work with the dvd as long as that install dvd is a powerbook disc (install discs are device specific).
