I am looking for suggestions on a back up system, for the above product. Competent, but easy!
Thank you,
S.
Sherry,
If you have a .mac account from Apple, you can use Backup and iSync.
If you have an external drive you can use Carbon Copy Cloner.

Super Duper is another good back up program

Sherry,
I use Western Digital Firewire drive with no problems. There are several makes that work well with your Mac. Firewire is the best way to go.
EZQuest, Universal BUSlink, and Fantom Drives work well, also.
The size is your preference, but if you get a 120 GB or larger, I suggest partitioning the drive into two drives, using Disk Utility on your hard drive (Applications>Utilities) to format and partition.
External firewire drives can be obtained at any computer store, warehouse (Sam's, Costco) or on line. CDW (
www.cdw.com) or MacMall (
www.macmall.com), or MacConnection (
www.Macconnection.com) are reputable places.
Does this help you?
