I have finally successfully burned a back up of a DVD-movie. Only, it doesn't play when I use DVD player on my Mac. I was wondering if this problem can be resolved. If not, I then want to know if it will play on only some DVD players. Is this a double-layer issue, or is there a simple solution?

Need more info: How did you burn it (in detail)? What Macintosh are you using, what System version, what software for the actual burning of the DVD (?Toast). Are you creating a dual layer DVD or compressing a dual-layer original to single layer? What brand DVD media are you using? Is the brand the same as what Apple sells on their website?

Sorry for all the questions, but without more info, we really can't help.

Sorry for the brief description.

I used Mac the Ripper and DVD2OneX. That's it.
In MTR- Feature Only Extraction/ RCE Region = Off/ New Region = 1.
DVDs I've burned work fine in every DVD player I've tried except 'DVD Player' on my Mac (1Ghz G4/768/Tiger/SuperDrive). I figured that this is because of some kind of copyright protection. Please fill me in.
