I hve Black macbook and my ethernet is showing in the system profile, network utilities, system preferences says no cabe plugged in when there is a cable there. I've done all Reset PMU reset SMU and still nothing when I plug in the cable. Can you possibly help with this

How old is your macbook? I got mine in August of 06 and had the same problem and they ended up replacing the logic board. Hope this isn't the problem with yours, but it does happen. I hope you are still under warranty.

I purchased this june 07. One day it worked then the next day nothing. Do you have any idea on what I could do

Um... I would suggest either calling AppleCare or taking it to your local Apple Store and having someone look at it. Like I said, they had to replace my logic board... and mine was exactly like yours...one day it worked, the next it didn't. Hopefully you can get it working.
