TICKET ARCHIVE -> MacBook mic is not working in ichat ONLY

My internal mic is not working in ichat, but it is working in Garage Band and word, but not in ichat? is there something I need to click? When I attach my isight it works fine, but no sound is being picked up my my built in mic for ichat.

Thanks for choosing MacOSX.com.
Within the preference for iChat, click on the Green Video Icon. You will see your video output, the first option under that is MICROPHONE, with a drop down menu beside it > INTERNAL MICROPHONE or LINE IN.
MAKE SURE it is set to INTERNAL MICROPHONE.
Other than that... seeing that the Mic does work... this seems to be a likely solution.
